This program serves the Carondelet area with instruction in basic literacy, preparation for the Missouri GED Certificate and lessons for immigrants in English as a Second Language. International Institute
Specialized instruction in English for Speakers of Other Languages is provided to more than 3,000 annually. Classes also provide literacy, general education, basic computer training, prevocational, citizenship, GED, and TOEFL preparation. Missouri Adult Education & Literacy's GED Online Class
GED Online Class is Missouri's online classroom for students looking for the flexibility of completing most of their GED test preparation at home. This program is sponsored by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Go to www.gedonlineclass.com for more information.
Parkway Area Adult Education and Literacy
Classes are offered in basic reading, math and English as well as GED preparation and English as a Second Language classes. There is also a literacy program with tutors for adults at 0-5 reading levels.
